All three founders of 3 Clothing company served in the U.S. Marine Corps. We gave our time and hearts to serve the United States. We were lucky. Although Reese did see combat in Iraq, none of us have suffered permanent damage from our service. In fact we have gone on to become successful in the civilian world. There are however over 131,000 vets that aren’t doing so well. Every night they look for places to stay. Hopping from relatives houses, shelters, or worse park benches and under bridges…

So in this weeks DDW I'm blogging on another recommendation from you guys. So I'll start by saying it's time to end this already dead trend.

What is it about these blobs of rubber with holes that have people thinking it's okay to wear them in public? Not only that, people wear them with everything; suits, jeans, shorts, etc... Do they not realize that they are just plain ugly? For some reason the company came out with a big variety of colors too, which only makes it more apparent to everyone around the person wearing them, that they don't own a full length mirror.

Once upon a time there was a woman. This woman had a closet. And in this closet she would stand and stare and sigh and bemoan...."I have absolutely nothing to wear!"

Then one day......a very happy day.....something magical happened....she sent her old "It's out of style...it's too boring...why did I every by this...yes ladies those jeans in the very back of your closet. Those jeans you spent a fortune on and had wonderful days and nights in...the ones you wore when you met that special someone...those are the jeans I'm talking about.

Everyday women open their closets, stand in front of racks of clothing, and announce that they “have nothing to wear”. And then some person decides that it is their duty to help. They say things like “what about this?” or “oh you haven’t worn this in a while” and other things that fall on deaf ears.

There seems to be no shortage of worthy causes these days. When we started 3 Clothing company, we had a real desire to have an impact in the world we live in. Obviously being an eco-friendly company is a major part of that. We also decided early on to give 10% of each sale to the charity of the customer’s choice. That’s a big deal, we aren’t talking about 10% of the profit but 10% of our revenue.

So I guess it's time to tell everyone what is going on in the world of 3 and Patricc. Over the last couple of years we've been working hard to please you, the customer. Sometimes people have a charity that they really support, that's not on our
list. We do the leg work to validate the charity's legitimacy and we add it to our list. As long as you are happy, we
are happy.
