Over sizing your outfit continued....
Over sizing your outfit..... This can be done the right way or the wrong way. Let me explain.
Now this spring/summer is going to be a little tricky. Silhouettes aren't as important as they
used to be. Meaning, it used to be the tighter the pant/jean/skirt mixed with the tighter shorter
shirt was the best. The less you left to the imagination about how your body looked naked was
the best. Not any more... Lets just say give 50% to silhouette and 50% to over sizing.
So in my last blog I told you how you can dress up a over sized tee that you stole out of a male
figures closet. Along with the example that I had in that blog, I would like to give you a bit more.
I realize that a lot of guys are still against v-necks. (i don't really know why, but oh well), so take
a crew neck of theirs. While I prefer solid vees, with crews you can pick a graphic tee, print
or a solid. Take a pair of scissors and cut the neck to make it bigger. Preferably to hang off one
shoulder. If this is long enough, simply add a pair of tights/leggings and flats. I love ballets. Just
remember to wear form fitting bottoms, whichever you prefer, while sporting over sized shirts.

So now I wanna get in to the opposite over sizing rule. There are two items that I wanna speak
about. I feel they are both staple pieces to this spring/summer's wardrobe. The boyfriend jean
and the bubble skirt. Now both of these pieces pretty much limit the silhouette shape of the
woman's body. Ergo, it is a must that we do not match it with an oversize shirt.
Boyfriend jean: This piece is the most versatile out of the two. The mere fact that if you don't
want to go buy this jean, which Current Elliot made popular (other companies have released
their own boyfriend jean since) you don't have to. Go in to you boyfriends closet and grab a
pair of jeans that he used to fit in to when you guys started dating. Put a couple rips/tears
throw them on and roll them up. Now it's up to you how big you want to make the cuff. Now
pairing this up is just as easy. A simple tee or tank top (out of your closet) with a strap sandle,
boot or flat will complete this outfit.

Bubble skirt. This is another easy one and I like it more on the night out mindset. I really like
solids, but prints are cute as well. Now since we know that bubble skirts don't show your bodies
silhouette, you must make sure the top does. I love the high waist bubble skirts with long
sleeve, boat neck, turtle neck, etc. I love it with and without tights. Wide belts are a plus

Regardless of what you where, just remember that it is okay to express yourself and not worry
about expressing everyone else. Your body is a canvas and your clothing is the paint... Make Art.
