3 keys to fashion

So I was thinking about what to write about next. What is it that you care about reading? Then I thought to myself "Josie, why don't you just ask your readers?" Now that makes sense. It seems like when it comes to fashion whether it's formal, casual, semi-casual, themed, etc. there are a few key questions that come up. Cut, color, and fit. Personal style and things like print are built on these 3 key areas. Once you have that worked out, everything else is personal.

Being Green and Fashionable is Easier than Ever Before

It used to be that if you want to wear green clothing you risked being completely outside the fashion loop. This is no longer the case. The market for green clothing has grown exponentially over the last few years, with no sign of slowing down. Long gone are the days when organic clothing was something that was hard to find, overpriced, and dull.

A Growing Market

Do What You Do

Do What You Do- for the Glory

More than an American Dream

The world has changed in just one night. The 2008 presidential election
will go down as a defining moment in history. No matter whom you voted
for, you have to be amazed by what happened. Although it’s amazing in
itself that for the first time in history the U.S. will have a non-white
President, it’s even more exciting to see how well democracy works in this
country. In the United States of America, the people have the power. It is
our prayer that this will always be the case.

Barack Obama has proven that the American Dream is not only alive, but it

Green Economy

I was skimming through the net today and found an interesting blog MomsSpeakup.com. This particular post is about what most people are talking and are worried about, the economy. Let’s be real, things look a little scary. I believe that we, as in most of the world, have been living in bliss for several years. We have had stock market crashes and bubbles pop and we still bounce back. So we have gone on blindly instead of adjusting to protect ourselves.

Organic yes| Extremist no

The Conflict

Sometimes we are in conflict about whether we should market ourselves as an organic clothing company. I mean we are an organic clothing company, but we don’t want to be thought of that way. A friend of mine sent me a youtube.com video the other day. It was called “crying over dead trees”. Basically it was a group in the woods crying about trees that had died or had been cut down. They were trying to be “in tune” with nature.

Shade of Green???

Is it hypocritical to be a shade of green?

Okay so im sitting here at the bar with my laptop, design book,
calender, phone, etc doing work. I'm researching organic fabrics for
our new scarves that will be released soon and available at
3clothingco.com. Then at once a thought pops in my head. AM I A
HYPOCRITE? Now understand I dislike hypocrites. Mainly the outspoken
"your wrong for this and that" hypocrite. I guess it's more of the
hypocrites that consciously contradict their preachings... any how. As

From fashion shows to the real world

What happens in Vegas

So I just returned from Vegas. I went out to Magic, Project, and Pool
trade shows. It's always an exciting time for me. I got to see all the
upcoming gear, style, trends. It's also a time that the most
fashionable people in the world congregate in the same city. To me
it's heaven.

What's in?

Ok back to Vegas. So what I noticed was there hasn't been to much
change in the last year. You will be seeing the bigger sized tops for

The t shirt cause trend

So I was browsing t shirt blogs today, and I came across this interesting blog http://tcritic.com. One of the posts that really caught my attention was a blog about for a cause t shirt companies. To summarize the post, he says that he doesn't like most for a cause t shirt companies, because they think the cause is enough, and 2 they are ambiguous in how much they give. This struck home with me, because I completely agree.
