There seems to be no shortage of worthy causes these days. When we started 3 Clothing company, we had a real desire to have an impact in the world we live in. Obviously being an eco-friendly company is a major part of that. We also decided early on to give 10% of each sale to the charity of the customer’s choice. That’s a big deal, we aren’t talking about 10% of the profit but 10% of our revenue.
So I guess it's time to tell everyone what is going on in the world of 3 and Patricc. Over the last couple of years we've been working hard to please you, the customer. Sometimes people have a charity that they really support, that's not on our
list. We do the leg work to validate the charity's legitimacy and we add it to our list. As long as you are happy, we
are happy.
Today is Reese Donner's birthday. He is one of the founders of 3 Clothing. In celebration, we have put his favorite design on sale at 35% off. Take a look
Over sizing your outfit..... This can be done the right way or the wrong way. Let me explain.
Now this spring/summer is going to be a little tricky. Silhouettes aren't as important as they
used to be. Meaning, it used to be the tighter the pant/jean/skirt mixed with the tighter shorter
shirt was the best. The less you left to the imagination about how your body looked naked was
the best. Not any more... Lets just say give 50% to silhouette and 50% to over sizing.
So in my last blog I told you how you can dress up a over sized tee that you stole out of a male
This spring/summer is going to be a fun one for those that think they are running out of clothes in their closet. As I said last fall, oversize is in and will still be a part of spring/summer. This makes it easy for every girl to expand her closet. Every girl I know has a male figure in their life, be it their brother, boyfriend, best friend, etc, that has gained a few pounds over the winter months. So if you happen to be in their house and you're not in love with what you are wearing, feel free to raid their closet.
So I'm assuming that someone kept their fingers crossed. I got a
job!!!! I'm lucky enough to know people that know people. A friend of
mine from Orlando has a sister that works at a really nice Mexican
restaurant out here. Well she spoke to her sister and I went in this
past Friday night. By the time I left I had a job. It's a really nice
place called Frida Mexican Cuisine. Now as a lot of you know, I'm a
Mexican food fanatic so I'm really excited about working here. And
it's authentic as hell. Our Executive Chef speaks about as much
-So I've made it to LA. I have signed my lease and moved all my shit
in. My studio is right in Hollywood. I look out my window and see the
capitol records building. The one thing that sucks about living in
Hollywood is the parking or lack of parking. My street has loads of
people on it, but very little parking. This morning I woke up at 5
a.m. to move my car. It was parked in a "NO Parking 8-10a.m. Tuesday"
spot. So I go move it and it takes me about 25 minutes to find a spot
and walk back. I then got up around 9:30 and took my dogs on a walk to
So my move to LA. For those that don't know, I have decided to move to
LA so i can work on growing my clothing line.
Friday 7:16 am
Wake up early to finish packing the last of the things in the cars.
We have 2 friends that are driving my car tandem. We were looking to
set out around 8 a.m. but ended up departing at 8:45 a.m. Now this is
my 3rd cross country trip. The first 2 I did solo, so Im stroked to
have someone sitting next to me for the 2,520 mile journey. Both cars
are loaded from top to bottom and back to front. The only windows i
So I was thinking about what to write about next. What is it that you care about reading? Then I thought to myself "Josie, why don't you just ask your readers?" Now that makes sense. It seems like when it comes to fashion whether it's formal, casual, semi-casual, themed, etc. there are a few key questions that come up. Cut, color, and fit. Personal style and things like print are built on these 3 key areas. Once you have that worked out, everything else is personal.
